The Lip Paints cost $23 which is a bit much for a lip product but Girlactik is a crulety-free, higher end makeup brand. Once it dries I don't notice the smell too much so it's not a big issue for me. What I can say is that this is not a fruity smelling lip product. If you are sensitive to certain smells this might not be the product for you.

I'm not too fond of the smell (I'm not too sure how to describe the smell) but I haven't come across any lip paints that have a very appealing smell. The way I use this lip paint after exfoliating is to apply one layer, let it dry for about 10-15 seconds and apply another layer on top. The formula is already pigmented and opaque enough and for you to be able to get away with one layer but I like my lip colors to be intense so I always wear more than just one layer.

The hype aside, this is a very pretty and girly mid-tone rosy pink! Not too bright, not too dull, with just the right hints of brown, to make it neutral enough to wear with any lipstick you like!

The shades mentioned below will suit skin tones across the board, from Fair to Medium, to Dark/ Deep! There is something in here for everybody! You can also use them to define and shape your lips, and then put the desired lipstick on top! Filling your entire lips with a Liner and then wearing your lipstick on top helps prolong the wear of your lipstick by a great deal !! You can wear any of these shades by themselves! Wear them by themselves for a matte look, or add a gloss on top to add more depth and definition! They all have a matte finish on the lips and last for a very long time, even through meals! The bottom of the pencils have a small section which displays the shade that it is, for easy identification.Īll of these are very creamy and easy to apply. The pencils come with a removable cap, which fits quite securely. I am not a big fan of this aspect of theirs.
